They will delve into the phenomenon of Hasior, discoveries from his archive, and unknown facts from the artist’s adventurous life. In the second part, we invite you to a unique multimedia show of treasures from the Władysław Hasior archive. Michał Szota will be live-mixing the visuals, with an improvised musical score provided by the duo Malediwy (Marek Pospieszalski and Qba Janicki).
On the second day (September 28), we will move to Zakopane, the home of the Władysław Hasior Gallery, which has been part of the Tatra Museum for 40 years. Ania Batko, a curator and critic, will lead us on a walk along Hasior’s trails in Zakopane. Immediately following, the curators of the artist’s archive, Julita Dembowska and Karol Hordziej, will take us on a journey through Władysław Hasior’s life and work. The weekend will conclude with a premiere concert by the duo Ziut Gralak and Tomasz Leś, set against the backdrop of the famous assemblages exhibited in the gallery space.
PLEASE NOTE: Participation in the multimedia show (Sept 27, 8:00 PM) requires a free ticket, which can be downloaded via the form on the website https://kbfbilety.krakow.pl/. You can also email us at fundacja@sztukawizualna.org regarding this matter.
The panel and multimedia show will take place in the courtyard of Potocki Palace, and in case of bad weather, it will be moved to the Potocki Palace Gallery, in the basement of the Palace.
Admission to the other events is free and does not require registration.
